Burr's Marina, Serving Boaters for Over 100 Years!

Burr's Marina has been proudly serving the Long Island Sound for over 100 years, and is still going strong! Located in New London, Connecticut, this marina has all that you can need and more when it comes to amenities and outstanding service. Catch some rays while the kids splash around in the pool, then head over to the tented picnic area suited with gas grills for some hamburgers and hot dogs. If you prefer a more effortless meal, there is an onsite restaurant called "On The Waterfront," where you can grab delicious land and sea fare, for both lunch and dinner. For all of you fishermen, there is a Bait Shop on the property stocked with all your rod, reels and necessities to promise you a great day of fishing.

If you want to explore away from Burr's Marina, you have so many choices of activities offered in every direction. You are a quick cab or car ride away from great shopping, historic museums and galleries and an 18-hole golf course. If you're feeling lucky, the Connecticut Casinos are only a few miles away. There is additional lodging available nearby the marina as well, in case you are in the mood for a night of landlocked Z's. You can even catch the high speed ferry to Block Island, where you can get your party on!

This is such a nice place to have a boat. The people are great. We loved getting to know everyone. Adam, Christian, Paul, Pete and Mary all went out of their way to be helpful. We would love to stay here again when we sail back their way!

We came here for emergency repairs to rudder and keel after hitting rocks. Knowing that we are trying to head south before winter, they have been working hard. The estimate was 2-3 weeks, and it will be just 3 weeks! Derek is a master at fiberglass repairs, very thoughtful , lot's of experience,and prepared to discuss options. The yard has been super accommodating while we've been trying to live 12 feet up on stands. All the folks are friendly , straight forward, and knowledgeable.
We arrived at the beginning of October, and the marina is winding down for the winter, so the facilities are a bit rough.

The folks at Burr's Marina are straightforward, trustworthy, and good at what they do. The fixed docks aren't luxurious, but they've been doing upgrades on the laundry and shower facilities, which are up a stairway (on a bit of a cliff). The Fishers Island ferries create some roll, so it can be nice to get a mooring behind the small rocky island for a little protection.
