I booked my stay in April 2023 and when we arrived they did not have my confirmation that we reserved 2 nights Battery park was very accommodating I will never use this website to book on line I will call next time to reserve docks

Marina Response: We're sorry to read this customer's review. We did have this customer's reservation on file, however on arrival, the customer provided a different first and last name than what was provided on their reservation. This led to some confusion on site initially as our team could not locate the booking in the system as it was under a different name. Once this was resolved, we located their reservation and the customer was accommodated. We hope they enjoyed their stay on site and that we can welcome them back again in the future. Snag-A-Slip Response: Snag-A-Slip does notify all marina partners promptly of all reservation requests. In this marina's case, the reservations are also automatically input into their on site system, with all details of the vessel and boater name provided during check out. We encourage all boaters provide accurate details during the booking process are accurate, to ensure a speedy check in process once on site. We are happy to note that this boater was accommodated on site and hope to see them back out on the water in the future.

Washrooms and showers were very clean, staff was very friendly. Gas pumps were broken so we had to go to another facility to get fuel to go home.

220v was under 200v causing AC TO shut down. T docks are a bit rough and covered in goose turds. Communication was difficult upon arrival and dock assignment. Other than that the staff is very friendly and we were glad we were able to get a dock.

Everyone is so helpful and courteous. Marina is always clean with air conditioned shower areas. Simple 20 minute walk to downtown. This was our second year staying there and will surely be back. Paul Brook Park, Oh

Put on a cement pier. On arrival the pier was a mess with bird poo and dead seagulls and access gate was locked. But staff quickly reacted and cleaned up and got the gate unlocked. Overall once cleaned up the stay was pleasant.

Great stay! So convenient and walkable to the restaurants in Sandusky. Restrooms and showers super clean. And most important the staff was super friendly and ready to help with anything. I would stay again!!

As always, the staff is really nice and very helpful. Anything you need they'll go out of their way to get for you. The folks at the marina are also all really nice. Great chatting with them. Free entertainment on the weekends too! The facility is always clean and well kept. The location is just a 10 minute walk to downtown and all the restaurants and bars. What's not to love? Great pool too. We'll be back.

Great marina and location. An easy walk to downtown Sandusky for shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. The marina has good restrooms, showers and other features. Great management and staff who are always helpful and friendly. Now has breakfast, lunch and dinners available most days.

Great marina with friendly helpful staff, friendly seasonal dockers, and great facilities. Close enough to walk downtown, but far enough away to be very quiet. Good security and shower/restroom facilities. The addition of an on-site food take-out restaurant last year is a plus.

Great place. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. The food was good from the Better Half, they also had live music both days we were there. This was our first time staying overnight with our boat. We will be back in the future.

The only reason I didn’t give an excellent rating was because getting the dock number assignment was confusing. We arrived after 5:00 pm and attempted a radio call and phone call unsuccessfully. Went to the fuel dock and the attendant contacted marina security. The security man was extremely friendly and helpful. Would have been nice to know the slip number by email ahead of our arrival or an after hours procedure. Had a great overnight stay and will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Excellent. We love it there and the people are awesome! Everyone that own boats in that Marina are awesome! The kitchen is open and is very good too. $800 for two weeks hurt a little bit but I understand why.

One of the cleanest and well kept marinas we've enjoyed. All personel were friendly and very personable. Deb the general Mgr was very kind and receptive. Although I've been boating for over 30 yrs, this was our first stay at Battery and we will definitely be back.

Were surprised by the increase in cost since we stayed in 2019, but have to say....as nice as it was then, it's nicer now. Better amenities: security rounds every hour, nice pool area. easy check in, clean and spacious restrooms/showers, liver entertainment and wonderful snack bar! Everyone was friendly before, but this time; everyone was even more friendly and helpful. We had an outside delivery while we were there at the front desk and they even offered to bring it to our boat. This is also a very pet friendly marina. We will stay again!

Battery park in Sandusky is a nice marina, clean restrooms and showers, Sandusky has a lot to do, the only negative is we had a .26 of a mile walk to restrooms

Very nice marina. Friendly staff. One caution: When entering marina for the first time, you will be given instructions over the radio. Be sure you pay close attention and understand them. You will not get a chance to ask anything more, because when the dock attendant goes to meet you, they do not have a radio !
