Snag-A-Slip is a new way for booking boat slips or moorings. You can now reserve slips online - or with our brand-new mobile app – just like you would with hotel rooms, airfare and restaurants. We encourage you, our customer, to use Snag-A-Slip to explore awesome destinations, find great marinas, and then book boat slips quickly and easily so that you can boat with confidence.
Snag-A-Slip is currently available from Canada to the Caribbean, and we are expanding across the US and internationally! You can boat with us from the Great Lakes all the way down the ICW to Florida and beyond. Stay tuned and check out our Regions for our new marina additions – we are expanding daily.

Nope, nada, zilch. We have never charged a booking fee to boaters booking slips or moorings with us. Pretty cool, right?
Type in a marina, state, or town of interest in our search bar and press Go! To narrow your results and check availability, add in your travel dates, boat length, beam and draft, and power requirements. Our system will match your search criteria with availability in the region.
If you just want to browse, that’s cool too! You can explore where we have slips by using our Interactive Map, or by browsing our Regions tab at the top of this page! Once you find a marina you like, click Learn More to check your availability. From there you will be prompted to add in your dates and boat requirements to check availability and snag your slip.
You can reserve slips as far in advance as you would like. So, whether you are planning your entire summer or just the upcoming weekend, we can help.
We do recommend that you reserve your slip during normal business hours. If you book after 5PM for a same-day stay, we will do our best to contact the marina regarding your reservation, so that you have important arrival information (bathroom codes, key cards, etc.). Since online booking is new to the boating industry, we do follow up on every reservation as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours from the time of reservation.

Our marinas charge by the length of your boat, and many have a minimum price per night. Rates can fluctuate based on the day of the week, holidays, and special events. Your total price will also include any additional taxes or fees, and we will itemize these for you before you complete your checkout process. Some of our marinas charge a resort fee on top of their slip or mooring fee. This could include amenities such as free WiFi, activities programs, concierge services, and towel/beach chairs/etc. Resort fees are charged per night, and you can see this itemized before you complete your checkout process.
Absolutely! We would be more than happy to help you! We can even plan a multi-destination cruise for you and your group. Just Contact Us with your information and details about your cruising group, and our dedicated concierge team will make it happen!
Unless otherwise specified on the marina detail pages or within your confirmation email, Check-In is at 2PM on the first date of booking and Check-Out is at noon on the last date of the booking. If you will be arriving or departing outside of these times, please Contact Us to let us know.
We currently do not support reservation modification via our website or app. Please Contact Us with your booking information and new travel dates, and we will be happy to look into this for you.
Eligible cancellations and refunds are easy! We mirror the marina’s cancellation policy. If you can cancel or modify your reservation based on the marina's cancellation policy, we will gladly assist.
To cancel your reservation, simply navigate to the My Trips tab of your Account, find the trip you would like to cancel, scroll to the bottom of your confirmation and select the orange Cancellation button.
If you Checked Out as a Guest, please Contact Us with your name, email, and confirmation number and we will be happy to look into this for you.
In the event that you are eligible for a refund, depending on the cancellation policy of the specific marina that you booked with, we will strive to process your refund immediately, and definitely within 48 hours of notification of cancellation. Refunds may take 5-7 days to reflect in your account, depending on your banking institution.
If you have already booked with Snag-A-Slip, a claim can be made if the price you are quoted directly from the marina [inclusive of all taxes, fees, and surcharges] is lower than what you paid on snagaslip.com. If you haven’t yet booked with Snag-A-Slip, but are quoted a lower price directly from the marina, just get in touch with us and we will match it!
Please Contact Us with your name, email, phone number, and itinerary and let us know that you found a lower price directly from the marina. We will contact the marina, and if we can verify that you have been offered the lower price, we will either match it or refund you the difference.
If you have already booked a trip with Snag-A-Slip before you find the lower price, we will refund the difference. Upon notification of your qualification for a refund, we will aim to refund you the monetary difference between the marina's direct offer and the Snag-A-Slip price within 72 hours. Your refund will be credited to the same method you used for your Snag-A-Slip booking.
If you have not already booked a trip with Snag-A-Slip, but would like to, we will match the marina’s direct offer. Upon notification of your qualification for a price match, we will contact you directly to help you complete your booking with Snag-A-Slip.
If you cancel [partial or whole] a booking on which we have already made a refund, we will refund you the original amount you paid for the ticket, minus the Price Match Guarantee refund and any applicable cancellation fees. All refunds will be governed by any terms and conditions applicable in your destination country during your Snag-A-Slip booking.
Our mobile apps are coming soon! We will have an app for both Apple and Android phones. Sign up to our newsletter to get updated when our apps are available! In the meantime, our website is mobile friendly, so you are able to search and book on your phone and tablets without the app.

Our Mobile Website runs directly in the mobile browser on your smart phone or other mobile device. Both the Apps and the Mobile Website allow you to search for marinas, book slips or moorings, access your account information, or Contact Us directly from your mobile device.

There is no sign-up fee for marinas to use Snag-A-Slip! You can list your marina and available slips for free on our website, and we will even promote you on social media and other channels. When a boater books a stay at your marina, we assess a nominal percentage based fee on the reservation amount.
